KOICA, GIZ and Gender Stakeholders Engage at Kisii National Polytechnic
Kisii National Polytechnic hosted a stakeholder engagement bringing together representatives and partners associated with KOICA, GIZ, and gender-focused initiatives to discuss opportunities for strengthening gender inclusion and empowerment within the institution and the wider community.
The engagement provided a platform for stakeholders to share experiences, explore areas of collaboration, and discuss practical approaches to promoting equal opportunities, participation, and representation in education, skills development, and the workplace.
Discussions emphasized the importance of creating inclusive learning and working environments where women and men have equal opportunities to access education, develop skills, participate in leadership, and contribute meaningfully to socio-economic development.
The engagement also highlighted the value of partnerships in advancing gender-responsive programmes and strengthening institutional capacity. Kisii National Polytechnic remains committed to working with development partners and stakeholders to promote inclusivity, equity, and sustainable skills development.
