GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING DEPARTMENT


asdddMr. Benjamin Nyareki Ongoro holds a master’s degree in Business administration (MBA) from The Presbyterian University of East Africa, Holds a Bachelors degree in Education Science with Guidance and Counseling (Physics with Guidance and Counseling) from Kampala International University Uganda, and holds Diploma in Building and Civil Engineering from Kenya Technical Trainers College (KTTC), holds Advanced Certificate in Plumbing.


Courses the Department Offers

The department has started offering HIV Testing Services (HTS) in conjunction with Health sciences Department. The Department Soon will start offering a Diploma in Counseling Psychology CDACC Curriculum.


Departmental Objectives

  • To disseminate information on HIV, AIDS and STIs once per term.
  • To carry out HIV VCT testing once per term.
  • To create awareness on effects of drugs and substance abuse to KNP community once per term.
  • To provide career guidance to our clients as need arises.
  • To provide emotional and psychological support to our clients as need arises.
