KNP starts collaboration negotiations with MMUST

On Thursday 15th December 2023 a delegation of three members of staff from KNP, led by the coordinator Research and Development, Mr Nyakoe George visited Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) Kakamega and started negotiations that will lead to establishing a collaboration between the two institutions.
The team which also includes Fredrick Wetaba of AGES and Annet Musebe of MEE who are both among KNP's STI champions met in the office of the Director of international relations and academic linkages, Dr. Umukher Ali who chaired the meeting. MMUST was also represented by Professor Bukhala, Professor Bota, representing director Research, Dr Konyole, Ms. Wangari and Mr Monari.
The team agreed to expand the collaboration agreement document to include research and innovation, curriculum implementation, career progression and community extension among other key areas.
The negotiations are ongoing and will soon bring on board more members of staff from both institutions.
